We’d come to buy a car, but several unexpected problems meant we had to extend our stay. The hotel turned what could have been a stressful situation into a lovely weekend. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating, and the service was outstanding. It’s in the cutest part of the city, just a few meters from the lake. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the price felt fair. The restaurant next door was just as welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in an incredible city.

The room was comfortable by EU standards, and the ensuite shower had good temperature and pressure. The hotel is close to parking and the Christmas market. But at €179/night for a standard double, it didn’t measure up. There was barely enough room to move, hardly any flat surfaces to put things on, and no cabinets, just overhead shelves and a small rim around the sink. The hallway smelled like someone had dropped a vat of lemon balm. They provide one regular key that has to lock both the room door and the hotel’s main door after hours. There’s nowhere indoors to gather, only a couple of chairs along the walls for waiting while your group assembles.

The location is very central and convenient, and the room was simple but comfortable. We got a friendly, helpful welcome along with local recommendations. I’d stay here again.

The room we were given was tiny, with a small window and almost no space, really meant for one guest even though we booked for two. Check the room details carefully in advance. The hotel is next to the Boden lake, a beautiful spot with cozy terraces. Our receptionist was very friendly, spoke English, and was open to helping. She answered our questions about the town, must visits, and transport, and offered to change our room. She responded positively to our requests, and we enjoyed the stay and service. Thank you, we’ll visit Constance again 😊
