Hotel Constantia

Parking was very difficult, and the rooms weren't soundproof. You couldn't walk normally without the neighbors coming to complain. The service was okay, and the location was nice.

I stayed in room 16, which had a lovely patio out back. The blackout curtains made the room completely dark day and night, great for a light sleeper like me. The bedding was the most comfortable, the towels were plush, and all the toiletries were there. Onsite parking was $15/day. This newly renovated hotel was spotless, with air conditioning, a super modern bathroom, soundproofing, lots of space, and plenty of closet room. The minibar was fully stocked with fine German wines and soft drinks. The staff were super welcoming, and the woman who checked me in took time to explain all the local attractions. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with well-equipped bathrooms, and the staff are friendly and manage well in English. The hotel has a modern interior and sits right at the edge of the old town.

Breakfast had a nice selection, and the staff were very pleasant. Our double room had plenty of cupboard space and a clothes rack, plus soundproof windows. The bed was comfortable and the room felt spacious. The bathroom was small but did the job, though the glass door didn't offer much privacy.
