Zur Post Kümmersbruck

The breakfast was really tasty and sustainable, and there’s a self-service restaurant with simple homemade meals and drinks. We stayed one night and felt welcome the whole time. Meadows, fields, and the river are nearby, making it a lovely area for walks with a dog. It’d be a good choice for a longer stay, too.

I stayed for an extended period, and the room was great, the service outstanding, and the food delicious. Dave was a wonderful representative of the hotel and restaurant. I enjoyed talking with him and admired how dedicated he was to making the place enjoyable for everyone. Thanks, Dave, I really appreciate everything you did. One morning, the owner was gracious enough to lend me a broom so I could uncover my car. I’m looking forward to visiting again.

Breakfast was good, with the usual cold meats, cheese, bread, fresh fruit, and yogurt. You could also ask for a cooked egg. Most of the food was locally sourced and bio. The room was a reasonable size, and the shower was good. The furnishings were good quality, but, as is typical of German guesthouses, there were no extras like a safe, coffee maker, or refrigerator. There’s outdoor seating and a beer garden, and internet is available for a small fee.

We spent a week here while I was visiting from the States. The showers were great, the rooms very nice, and the restaurant was absolutely outstanding.
