The breakfasts were such a treat, we were looked after like royalty and got little tasty surprises each day. The owner and staff were kind and attentive, and made us feel right at home. It was hard to leave what was easily the best Bed & Breakfast we've stayed in. The location also worked brilliantly for getting to different places quickly. We loved our time at the Alte Land Schule and hope to come back.

Once inside, the old country school has a really welcoming feel. The hosts are warm and helpful, and they made our stay feel like home. Breakfast was freshly prepared just for us, with things topped up whenever needed, and they were always happy to offer advice. The four rooms are roomy, clean, and decorated with care. The modern breakfast and lounge area still has a nostalgic touch. From the road in Langballig the building looks plain, tucked among trees, so you might miss what’s inside unless you look closely. It’s also a handy base for trips between Flensburg, Kappeln, and Langballigau. We’d happily recommend it.

We felt very comfortable here. The rooms are generous in size and tastefully done, with lots of care in the furnishings. The old country school idea runs through the place, including decorations that bring back memories of school days. A lovely little gem.

We spent three lovely days here and felt completely at ease. The room was great, the setting beautiful, and the breakfast fantastic, with very attentive service. You can see the care in all the little decorative details. We’ll definitely return. Thanks so much!
