The beer was lovely, and parking was super easy. Excellent location.

The food had a really proper, amazing taste. Staying in the rooms was an experience in itself because they’ve been kept as they were in the past. They weren’t in the best condition, but “hugely”.

A hearty lunch of really tasty, traditional regional seamen’s food. It’s not exactly cheap, but a good place to stop if you’re taking a day trip around the canals.

Friendly staff, a good kitchen, and clean, nice rooms. I can strongly recommend hotel Zum alten Schifferhaus, right by the river Elbe and in the old town.
