Staff were really nice, and the room was clean and spacious, with its own bathroom. It’s close to the city centre and the University. The only downside was that the night entrance is at the back of the building.

Hard to make out, but it was a short, informal review.

The hostess was very pleasant and spoke Russian, which helped when communicating with the Germans. There’s no refrigerator in the clean, bright room, and the furnishings are simple. The bar was closed, but rooms facing the tram were a bit noisy. The location is great, near the university botanical garden and lots of shops, and it’s a 20-minute walk to the city centre.
