The buffet breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choices so everyone could find something they liked: spreads, butter, pâté, ham, salami, four kinds of cheese, oats, muesli, jams, dried fruits, mixed nuts, plain and flavored yogurts, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables, white and wholegrain bread, sunflower and gluten-free bread, cake, apple and orange juice, lemon and mint flavored unsweetened water, plus coffee, espresso, cappuccino and café latte. The hotel itself is lovely and in a great area, around a 5-minute walk from the main train station. It was very peaceful, with no noise, disturbance, or traffic sounds. My room was clean, beautiful, and perfectly tidy, and I was absolutely happy with my stay. I’d recommend the hotel and would be glad to stay here again.

The location is the one clear plus, right beside the central station and in the city center. The night was quiet apart from the television problem. Every TV in the hotel turns on around 4 am, plays a short morning alarm clip, then shuts off. Staff said it was an error, and the only fix is unplugging the TV. There were no signs or warnings about it, and nobody mentioned it at check-in. I thought I had a haunted room. Breakfast was disappointing too: just coffee, water and juice to drink, with bread and cereal, plus some fruit and vegetables. The selection was really limited, with no scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, or anything like that. Staff were helpful and friendly, though they didn’t seem very passionate about the job.

The hotel’s best feature is its location. For the price, everything else was as good as it should be. More variety at breakfast would make it a 5/5. Definitely worth trying, especially if you’re visiting Leipzig for a weekend or just to see the city.

The room was good and the location suited us, especially for the price. The person at reception on the first day wasn’t kind, and the doors made noises at night that could wake you up. Still, we had a good stay in general.

The checkout time of 12:00 was handy. The place was modern and very clean, with friendly staff and a comfortable bed. The curtains let in a bit too much light for my liking, and the shower pressure was low.
