Spirit Lodge Leipzig - Hostel

This is my absolute favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It feels like home, with a really warm, welcoming atmosphere and a very friendly owner. You can see the care in every little detail, and all the natural materials make the place feel calm. The central location is perfect if you like an alternative, hippie kind of vibe. I’ve stayed twice now, and both visits were amazing.

Everything was super clean, from the kitchen and room to the bathroom and living area. There’s also an activities room for games, guitar, or morning yoga. The tram stop is practically right outside the front door and goes straight into the city by the main train station. Great spot for nightlife and wandering around the area. Highly recommend checking it out!

The outside might put some people off, but I really enjoyed my short stay. It’s a unique place, the staff are extremely friendly, and the tram goes straight into the city.

I spent almost a month at the Spirit and would happily return for another event. There’s lovely woodwork throughout, a spiritual feel to the place, and thoughtful touches like the meditation room and even a shoe-shining machine. It’s child-friendly too. Sebas, Annalena and Clemens were kind, easygoing and dedicated in their service.
