The place is on the older side, but it's peaceful and spotless. The hosts are welcoming and the service attentive. The menu isn't large, though the regional dishes are carefully made, and the game dishes are delicious.

The garden is a lovely spot, and dinner from the varied menu was a real pleasure. The two owners are wonderfully attentive and glad to suggest excursions and routes. It's a welcoming little hotel and a handy base for exploring the Dahner Felsenland or nearby France. I'd recommend the hotel and its owners.
