The scenery is charming, with plenty of woods, and the room was tidy and clean. Breakfast was very good, and the host was friendly, though the service didn't feel like hotel service. There aren't really any restaurants around, apart from the one at Marienstatt Abbey, which I highly recommend.

By the stream, the setting is beautiful and the village feels cozy. The bowling alley was great and didn't seem too old, drinks came quickly, and the price was fair. The restaurant is being renovated at the moment, so I can't say anything about it. There are other places to eat a little farther away.

The bowling alley is fantastic, and the idyllic spot has friendly, quick service. The light meals, cakes, and drinks are fresh and delicious, with absolutely nothing to complain about. The business is still under construction, but what has been completed already looks impressive.

We tried the outdoor seating recently, but felt unwelcome. The cake listed on the blackboard wasn't available, though they had other options. Neither the cake nor the coffee was particularly good. Such a shame, since we'd planned to come back more often and support local businesses.

The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and that's the best part. He goes above and beyond to meet every wish. The rooms are quiet, the beds are fantastic, and the location is great, a must for a stay, a meal, and some relaxation! The new owners are fantastic and have amazing plans for the future. Thanks for all your dedication. Our dog was warmly welcomed too.
