We'd enjoyed our time at the campsite, but the restaurant experience has put us off coming back. It was our last night, a Monday, and the other food options were closed, so we decided to eat there without a booking. A woman showed us to a table. My husband and I speak four languages between us, but not German. When she realised we didn't understand, she left us to serve everyone else and loudly mocked us. The food arrived quickly and was okay for what it was. Our young children were restless near the end, so my husband took them outside. We misunderstood each other and I thought he'd paid. At the play area we realised neither of us had. I went straight back in to pay and apologise, but the woman shouted at me so badly that I came out crying. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the service was so bad I felt I had to give honest feedback so the place can improve.

The facilities are clean, and there are activities for children. The ice cream is very good. It gets very crowded and a bit noisy, with the train close by. Some services need updating, and there are no signs in English.

Really pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service. 😃 They handled every request to change a dish politely and without any fuss. I haven't had steak this good in a long time, and both the soup and fish were first-class. 😋

I camp year-round and love stopping by this cozy inn. The terrace is large and shady, and the opening hours work well for me and change with the season. They also try to accommodate special requests when they can. The food uses fresh, high-quality ingredients and is good value, with friendly service from local staff. I'm local too, so I understand my fellow countrymen's humor! 🙂 There's a small children's menu, savory and sweet dishes, and daily specials. 👏👍
