We arrived around 9 pm and got a warm, kind, enthusiastic welcome at the front desk. The rooms are spotless, and parking on site is easy. Breakfast was just right for me, with plenty of choice but no overwhelming excess. The breakfast room is bright, with huge windows, and the outside courtyard looks inviting.

I was here for a week on a business trip. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and it’s fairly close to the island. Just be aware that parking costs an extra fee per day.

Breakfast covers the essentials and was good, with eggs, cheese, bread, fruit, and coffee, though nothing outstanding. Drinks are bought downstairs rather than kept in the room, but the prices are reasonable and the service is very friendly. There’s parking available. The hotel was very clean, seemed recently refurbished, and had kind staff. The sound insulation between rooms was great, and the windows were triple glazed. I’d definitely come back.

6/10
It’s about the same walking distance from the upper train station as it is from the island, and the facilities and fixtures are modern. There’s no AC and only a limited number of fans. We had to be assertive to get even average service; once we pushed past the initial excuses, the staff did provide what we asked for, including laundry. This felt more like a one- or two-star stay than a true three-star experience. I wouldn’t stay again.

The room felt fresh and modern, and the lake and town are a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent, with a good range of sweet items and both hot and cold food.
