Waldsee Lake is beautiful, with mist in the morning and lovely sunsets. We spent three nights in this lovely historic hotel, using two different rooms. Breakfast cost an extra €8 each, which seemed fair. They were comfortable speaking English whenever my limited German wasn’t enough. All good.

Room #28 was roomy and practical for us with our 11 month old son. There are lovely views of the lake and forest, and the air is fresh and everything very quiet. The place has a quaint, simple kind of luxury, a great restaurant, and pleasant staff.

A relaxing place to sit, with good German food and a menu that changes with the seasons, which is pretty cool. They also have nice cakes and teas.

I haven’t stayed at the hotel, but the restaurant food was excellent. My steak was cooked just right.

The view was great, and the cake tasted really good!
