Touch Down Motel

We found the location great: peaceful, but still close enough to everything. Cologne is around a 20-minute drive, and there’s a gas station, McDonald’s, and a supermarket nearby. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. The rooms were incredibly cozy and clean, and the bathrooms were spotless too, right into every nook and cranny. Sound carries through the rooms more than we’d like, unfortunately, but otherwise we had nothing to complain about. I’d highly recommend this motel.

I still remember that meal from eight months ago. It took me ages to choose from the menu, there were so many tempting and interesting options. I went with steak, fries, and mushroom sauce, and every bit of it was perfect. The green sauce on the side was sooo amazing, too. The room was good and the bed was great. Shame I was only there for one night. I can really recommend the hotel, especially the food!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for Gamescom weekend. The countryside setting was lovely, even though it’s an hour’s drive to the convention center. We especially loved the restaurant: the food was delicious and the desserts were even better. The staff were funny, fun, and so welcoming. We’ll be back next year! 👌🖖
