Spreezeit Hotel

The hotel has a lovely terrace and small garden, plus a good restaurant right inside. The host and staff were very friendly and did their best to make guests happy. Breakfast was good, and parking was free. It’s a little removed from the main harbor, about a 20 minute walk or no more than 5 minutes by car. Our room looked less modern than the photos, and the sound insulation, especially around the door, could be better. The price was fair, though toward the high end.

We were only there for one night, but the staff made a lovely impression. They were incredibly kind, answered all our questions, and helped us sort out our problems. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of dishes served in a very beautiful room that was a pleasure to sit in. The hotel is in a quiet area with few tourists, around a 10 minute walk from the old town. I recommend it!

I came away really rested. It’s such a quiet hotel, and I haven’t slept this well in years. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s about 15-20 minutes on foot from the center, so there’s a walk involved, but that’s fine if you’re up for a slightly more active holiday. I’d especially recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet. 5/5 stars.

The owner went out of their way to help us when our motorcycle wouldn’t start on departure day, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. The hotel was gorgeous, newly renovated, and super clean, with all the amenities we could have asked for. We loved the facilities, especially the comfortable bed and the amazing bathtub in our room, which also had a shower. Breakfast was wonderful, and the rest of the menu looked great too. It’s a short walk to the Altstadt, where we went to see the castle park and ride the Kahn/Boats. A great stay, and I’d definitely come back.
