The breakfast was a real treat, prepared with care and delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming, and you could see how much dedication he puts into his work. Parking right outside was easy and convenient, and the location made it simple to explore the area. Inside, everything was very clean and thoughtfully furnished. The cozy nautical decor gave the place a relaxed holiday feel from the moment we arrived. We had a truly wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

That conservatory room was the highlight this time: a garden view, two comfy armchairs and a big table. It was lovely to let in the morning sun or read there in the evening, and the little terrace with its own beach chair was great for unwinding. We've been back several times a year since our first stay in 2023. We feel at home here every time. The location is hard to beat, with the Trave River and promenade a minute away, ideal for a sunrise walk or a quick dip from the jetty. The rooms have lots of charm and are furnished with care. The beds and linens are especially comfortable, so we sleep really well. Breakfast is a treat too. You choose the night before, then find fresh sourdough bread, cold cuts, cheese, eggs and everything else prepared at your table in the morning. No buffet or rush. Everyone on the team is attentive, friendly and welcoming. Mr. Schmidt especially has a calm, warm manner that makes you feel at home, and it's clear he puts his heart into the place. For us, it's like coming home, with relaxation starting right at the door. Highly recommended even in the off-season.

We got in late by train, but the guesthouse is only a seven-minute walk from the station. The room was clean and bright, and the beach is just five minutes away on foot. We had great personal contact. Everything was arranged by email, and they let us check in a day before we arrived. We'd happily come back.
