We really enjoyed staying here. A bottle of red wine was waiting as a welcome gift, and the apartment had everything we needed. It was beautifully furnished and right by the Fegefeuer bus stop. Both bathrooms had toilets and were fully renovated; one also had a shower and bathtub. The location is very central, above the Rewe supermarket, which is open from 7 am to midnight. That means there can be quite a bit of traffic outside, especially in summer if you sleep with the windows open, so noise-sensitive guests may want to avoid it then. It didn't bother us, though, and we had earplugs. Having the supermarket next door was incredibly convenient for picking things up.

I waited outside for half an hour and called several times, but nobody answered. When I arrived for my reservation, the hotel was locked, with no doorbell or anyone I could reach. I had to find another room in a hurry for that same evening. After I complained on Booking.com, the person in charge claimed they had been there at the agreed time. That simply wasn't true, since nobody was there. I didn't get a refund either. This was outrageous, and I'd avoid the hotel.
