Schweizerhaus

Everything was really clean, and the price was good 👍 The hotel has a warm, pleasant atmosphere and a soul of its own. The breakfast room is tastefully decorated, and the food was tasty. One downside is that the old building can be quite noisy at night, with the wood creaking.

A very friendly owner who clearly loves dogs. They're welcome in certain rooms. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and warm, and breakfast had lots of great choices. Very nice place and a good price.

There was plenty of parking beside the hotel, but watch out for the trees in summer. They left some kind of sap that formed a sticky layer on our car, so we had to run it through the car wash. The room was clean and tidy, with a good bed and a tiny shower. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel staff were friendly. This was a great stopover in Lübeck on our way to Norway. After a full day in the car, walking about 2.5 km from the hotel into the old town for supper was just what I wanted. The town center is compact and quite interesting. The restaurant next door was closed, so we had a simple but tasty meal on the square, with a nice cold beer under a parasol on a warm summer day.

Worst place I’ve booked in Germany. This isn’t a hotel, it’s a house with thin walls beside a highway. More than ten rooms share just two toilets and bathrooms, and my wife was stuck waiting in line at 3 a.m. Breakfast was really poor too.
