Darmstädter Hof

It was clean and good.

We had four kinds of schnitzel and a cheeseburger between five of us at Darmstädter Hof on February 20th. Everything was incredibly delicious, and the portions were huge. The crispy fries were amazing too, including the sweet potato fries. The traditional decor felt comfortable and welcoming. Our server, who I think was the owner, was very friendly and always had a witty remark. That made us feel at home. The value for money was excellent, and you definitely get plenty for what you pay. We'll be back for sure. We’re still wondering why it took us so long to eat there.

It was our first time at the restaurant, and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Service was fantastic: they checked in regularly without being intrusive, and the staff were playful and so kind to children. They even brought coloring materials for our little one. The food was delicious. We especially liked being able to choose from lots of sauces and sides for the schnitzel, rump steak, or burger. The value for money was excellent too. We’ll definitely be back many times! 😊

We’ve stayed here three times, and the schnitzel has been world-class every time. The place is spotless and we feel right at home. The owners are so understanding and clearly have a huge soft spot for dogs. We’re here with our dog Leila while my husband works at Oktoberfest. Highly recommend it.
