The location was the only good thing for me, since it was near where I needed to be. Even that wasn’t great: there’s a noisy football field where people yell all day and night. I had to climb three flights of stairs every day to get something from the communal fridge, and staff were only at the desk during breakfast, which wasn’t even included. There was no minibar, fridge in the room, or kettle. I was charged more than 100 euros a day for this garbage, and I’ll never stay again. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this is one of the worst hotels I’ve experienced. The cleaning woman lied and, I believe, worked with the receptionist to charge me 150 dollars for “smoking.” I smoked once near the window, she saw me, and used that as a reason to nearly call the police on me. Then they ended up banning me. They can ban me for all I care.

I came by train, so I can’t comment on parking or breakfast. The staff were very friendly and easy to deal with. The rooms were exceptionally clean, renovated, and well kept, and the location was very quiet. For the price, I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were quite friendly, and my room was taken care of every day. It was cozy, though you don’t need extra space in a room anyway. If you’re visiting Mainz University, this is a great place to stay. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Getting into Mainz city center was easy, either on foot toward Johannes Gutenberg University or by taking the tram. The room was bright and tidy, with a practical layout and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had excellent water pressure, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
