Clean, well-kept rooms and friendly staff. It’s a great place to stay and eat, with reasonable prices. I’d recommend it if you’re in the Marburg area.

I’ve stayed here twice while in Marburg for personal matters. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast, while not huge, is tasty and complete. They’ll gladly top up your coffee or tea. The Italian dishes are good too. Rooms are clean and cozily furnished, though they can get a little noisy at times. The hotel is a bit outside the center, but the bus station is a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to get around. I’d absolutely recommend a short stay, whether you’re visiting for work or leisure. 5/5 stars.

The meal was the highlight for me. It’s the best food I’ve had in Marburg, with wonderful flavors and lots of choices. The wine and service were fantastic, and the dinner portions left room for a lovely Italian dessert and a doppio to end the evening. I could eat here every day. The staff were phenomenal and spoke German, Italian, and English. I stayed at the hotel too. My room was clean and lovely, with a nice bath. It felt just right, like being at my mom’s.

We couldn’t sleep because the owners often rent out the restaurant downstairs for loud weddings or birthday parties that go on until 4 in the morning. When we complained at 3 in the morning because it was too loud and I had to work in the morning, we were told to leave if we weren’t happy with the noise. That’s how paying customers are treated. The restaurant took an hour to bring our starter, which was just one tomato chopped into four pieces with four small slices of mozzarella. I’ve never had worse service or seen a customer treated like that. Don’t book this “HOTEL” if you need to sleep!

The staff were very attentive and friendly, and breakfast was pretty basic. The hotel itself was fine, clean, and comfortable. The bath and toilet are private, but you have to leave your room to use them.
