The Schwabentopf was a first for me, and I really enjoyed it: tender pork and mushrooms over spetzle, topped with cheese and lightly baked, with lovely flavor and texture. My wife’s fresh, well-seasoned trout was great, and my son’s kalb snitzeil was tender and just right on salt. The starter salad had a nice balance of different greens. Most of the food is locally sourced, and the restaurant is only a short walk from the train station. I’d recommend eating here when you’re in the area.

We didn’t stay overnight, just came for dinner. The food was very good, and the setting was quietly elegant. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

We stopped for one night on the way home with our baby. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, the food was good, and there was parking.

The homemade ice cream and creme brulee were delicious. We didn’t have time for a proper dinner, but we’ll come back to try the food.

The food shows real passion, and the set menu is great value at a very deserving Michelin restaurant.
