The owners made us feel welcome, and the food was fresh and very good. We’d stopped in the village for the night and came across this restaurant by chance. Definitely worth recommending.

The host let us park our motorcycle in his garage for free, which was a nice touch. This is a pleasant little family hotel, with clean rooms and good food.

The chef prepares everything herself and really knows the ingredients. Since I have celiac disease, it was a relief that they understood my intolerance and cooked my meal in separate pans. They also kindly and professionally explained which dishes I couldn’t have. Thank you for that. The restaurant is small and unassuming, with friendly, attentive service. The menu is only two pages, and there’s a changing seasonal menu too, currently with house-cured venison. We’d be happy to come back and enjoy another delicious meal.

The food was really delicious, and the rest of the staff do their jobs well. The owners, though, are regularly rude. A simple hello or good day should be a given. It’s a shame.

The grilled chicken is delicious, served with fries and salad at a reasonable price. They offer it by pre-order once a month, on the first Friday, so I highly recommend marking the date on your calendar. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service friendly.
