Hotel Am Wald

Our car broke down on the highway as my family and I were heading home from vacation in Poland, so we needed somewhere to stay for the night. The nearest hotel was "Am Wald." I called and explained what had happened, and the manager was friendly and very helpful. They even let us check in well after closing time. The staff made sure we were okay and went above and beyond. The accommodation was great, the rooms were clean and nice, and the area around the hotel was beautiful. I can only praise the service, and I'd highly recommend staying there if you're in the area.

There was plenty of room to park, and breakfast was good. The staff were really nice and helped us settle into holiday mode. It's out in the middle of nowhere, which means quiet roads, silence, and nature. The Wi-Fi dropped out sometimes, but roaming internet worked well.

The Internet was the letdown: it was poor, didn't work in our room, and needed a new login every time. Otherwise, we had a fantastic dinner, with both the fish and meat dishes marvellous, followed by a breakfast that had everything and was nicely presented. It's only a few minutes from the Autobahn, and all of that came at a reasonable price.

Just pure class. I'd recommend it 100% ✨
