Getting around on foot was easy: the hotel is near hiking trails, the shops, and the cable car, while still sitting on a quiet street close to the train station. We've stayed twice before, once on our honeymoon and once with our son, and hope to return. Our family suite had three bedrooms, a huge washroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room where we liked to hang out. The owners welcomed us with drinks and lots of useful tourist maps and pamphlets. They also helped with laundry for a charge, and we could hang it in the backyard while enjoying the mountain views. There was a convenient fridge in the basement where we could buy drinks, plus a cabinet of kids' games and books.

From the windows, you can easily see the mountains, and the train station is close by, so getting there was simple. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Chairs, a table, and a huge umbrella were already set up on the balcony. The hosting family must take their work seriously to have made the place this lovely.

Spring weather wasn't very nice, but we still enjoyed this tiny place so much. One evening there became one of our most beautiful and memorable experiences, a real once-in-a-lifetime stay.
