Haus Isartal

Being able to start hikes or bike rides right from the house was a real highlight for me. The holiday apartment is in a quiet spot by the forest and the Isar River, with a view of the Wetterstein mountains. Our apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, and the landlady was incredibly friendly. We’ll be back next year!

Free parking right outside was easy to use, with plenty of room. The apartment is managed thoughtfully, and there are lots of brochures about the area on a chest of drawers on the first floor. Fresh rolls can be delivered to the door each morning if you ask, at a surprisingly low price. We loved breakfast, and any leftovers go in a basket outside to be dried and fed to the sheep. So sweet! The Isar River flows right by the door, and its gentle sound is so soothing. The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and wonderfully clean. We liked that it wasn’t right in the town center, though the charming houses and restaurants were only a 10-15 minute walk away. We were welcomed so warmly, and the landlady showed us around and explained things to do. After an exhausting 11-hour drive, I was overwhelmed and couldn’t remember it all, but she took time to go over things again a few days later. There’s also a comprehensive information folder in the apartment. There’s so much to take in, but we’re very grateful for this wonderful stay at Haus Isartal.

Christine Brandner was the best host, and I’m still overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery and all the lovely people here. I came with my daughter, and we both felt very comfortable. The trip all the way from Berlin was absolutely worth it. The rooms are great, and this place is a must-see. We’ll be back. Thanks so much!

We really enjoyed the view from our balcony. The hosts were very friendly, and the apartments are tastefully furnished and well maintained. We can absolutely recommend Haus Isartal, so it’s five stars from us.
