The staff went out of their way to help when I arrived in the evening by bus. I’d thought I could walk from the stop, but in the dark that didn’t seem practical, so I called the hotel and they arranged a taxi when I couldn’t book one myself. The hotel is charming, the room was clean and cozy, and it’s handy for both the train station and the main center. Mittenwald is a beautiful town with fantastic views. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

We’ve spent three summers at this hotel and have already booked for next year. We love watching the sunrise or late afternoon from our mountain-facing balcony. The location makes it easy to walk to the city center, there’s free parking, and a grocery store is nearby. Staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are comfortable with plenty of storage, and breakfast is generous. There’s also an indoor pool and sauna for days when hiking or shopping weather isn’t great. We’re big fans!

The only letdown was the shower, since the bathroom was small. Otherwise, we highly recommend the hotel. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, our room had a great mountain view, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, with more buffet choices than I’ve ever experienced.

Waking up to that fantastic mountain view every morning was such a treat. The room was neat and really comfortable, though I still can’t get used to German beds 😅. Everyone was welcoming and lovely, and breakfast was great, well organized, and had plenty to choose from. We’d love to return.

The location is perfect, and the hotel feels warm and cozy. Every staff member was wonderful and did everything they could to help with any situation. We can’t wait to visit again. God Bless!
