Benny was a thoughtful host and shared plenty of personal recommendations. You can tell he knows the area really well. We stayed for a week and loved the view and convenient location. It’s a charming old house with modern touches like renovated bathrooms, Wi-Fi and online booking, and continental breakfast is offered.

We had a really welcoming week at Pension Bavaria with Benny and his family. The room was clean, had everything I needed, and the balcony looked out at the Karwendel. The bathroom seemed recently renovated and was especially well set up. At breakfast there was lots of choice, especially fresh fruit, and Benny remembered guests’ preferred drinks and catered to their preferences. The location worked perfectly for me, quiet away from the bustle but close to everything, with easy parking. As a local Bergwacht member, Benny had useful suggestions for walks and outdoor activities at different levels. I’m glad I chose this place and plan to stay again when I next visit Mittenwald.

The view was amazing, and the rooms were very clean. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, breakfast tasted great every day, and the location was great too. Thank you, we’ll be back in summer 😁

We came by motorbike from the UK and stayed for four nights. Benny was really helpful, and this family-run place is right in the centre of Mittenwald. We’d definitely stay here again, and come back to Mittenwald too.
