There’s plenty of parking, and the apartment is right by the lake. It was very clean and had all the holiday basics, like a coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The courtyard pool was especially great in this weather. We’d happily stay again.

The atrium is in a lovely spot, with a direct walk to the lake, a quiet atmosphere and lots of parking. Picking up the key was easy, and the room is a decent size. Taste is personal, of course. The bed was the main problem: it creaked and squeaked, and shifted like a waterbed when either of us moved, so sleeping two was difficult. Cleaning also needed work. The shower glass had weeks’ worth of visible limescale, and our socks made it obvious that the floor hadn’t really been cleaned. We’re not fussy, either. The stay was OK, and with better cleaning and a sturdier bed, this could be a great place.

Villa Regina was where we had breakfast, and the owner welcomed us personally and took good care of us. Our weekend at Apartment Regina was wonderful too. The grounds felt comfortable and were very well kept, with a pool in the courtyard. Our apartment had a kitchenette, a shower, and a bedroom and living area combined, plus a balcony. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely return.
