The rooms feel a bit old-fashioned, but the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean and in great shape. Staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was good. It's a family-run little hotel, handy for things in Rheydt and still fine for getting around greater Mönchengladbach. Nothing about it stood out as special, so I'd give it four out of five.

The sauna and breakfast area looked comfortable and very well kept. They provide bathrobes, plus a shower and toilet in the sauna area. Our double room was roomy, pleasant, and had a walk-in shower; the beds were comfortable too. We also looked at the single rooms. Those and their bathrooms were smaller, though still very well maintained, and the bed could fit two people. The hotel has the feel of a well-kept grand old residence. We'd happily come again and try the breakfast and sauna next time. Nothing to complain about.

The staff are really friendly, and the rooms have plenty of space with a TV and bathroom. Just be aware that the street can be fairly busy at night, which could bother anyone who needs complete quiet to sleep. It's a very nice hotel.
