The food, made with excellent local produce hunted by the hotel owner, a Jargermeister, was a real highlight. The historic house is around 600 years old, and inside it feels like comfort and luxury. I came back and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Hoping to make it a third visit next year.

Dinner was excellent in this 15th-century house. The hotel and restaurant are in one of the most picturesque villages in Baden-Württemberg, which makes for a distinctive German dining and living experience.

Parking was a little tricky, though understandable. I didn't stay overnight, just came for a meal, and the friendly service was great. It was the best meal I had during my visit.
