Hotel Ars Vivendi München

My perfume went missing from the room. After a lot of discussion, I did get the money for it, but I no longer felt comfortable with anyone entering, so I asked them to skip housekeeping. They went in anyway. The room itself was tiny, very dirty, and rundown, and I had no hot water the first night, the following morning, or the second night. Other reviews made it sound like this might be a recurring problem. When I raised the dirty room and cold water, the receptionist shouted that it wasn't his problem and became aggressive. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in, and I would absolutely tell people to avoid booking it.

The main pluses are the low price and being close to the U-Bahn. I wasn't expecting much for what I paid, but the room was a bit dirty and they gave me just one single duvet for a double bed. The staff weren't especially friendly, though that didn't bother me.

We only stayed one night, and everything was great, from the clean room and services to the Wi-Fi. Reception made a good first impression too, with friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed the short stay and have already marked the place for our next visits. We'll be back again.

The rooms have an old-fashioned feel, though at least there's an elevator. The location is good, with the subway and a beer house nearby.
