Brera Serviced Apartments Schwabing

I spent a month at Brera Serviced Apartments and came away with a great impression of my Germany trip. The Olympic Park is just steps away, public transport is right outside, and there’s a supermarket downstairs. My apartment had everything I needed, including a full kitchen and coffee machine, and there was a handy laundry room. The staff were always warm, friendly and helpful, and made me feel at home. A perfect place to stay, highly recommended.

The bed was only just comfortable enough for a couple of nights, because the mattress shape didn’t work well with the bed. Otherwise, storage was ample, the bathroom was clean and had a lovely walk-in shower, and the room was warm and reasonably quiet despite the main road nearby. The apartments are well placed for visiting Munich, opposite several tram and bus stops and close to a small supermarket and bar. Automated messages made communication efficient, and check-in was straightforward. I would have liked to see a staff member during the stay, but I have no complaints about the service.

We’d definitely stay here again. The neighborhood’s mostly made up of kind, lovely young families, and their friendliness made our visit especially enjoyable. The location also made it easy to get around Munich, with two grocery stores and bakeries no more than a three-minute walk away. The rooms are quite good once you figure out how things work. Staff were genuinely friendly and tried their best, though reliable translation technology helped us communicate efficiently and clearly in German.

I lived at Brera in Munich for about 18 months across 2020 and 2021, in both a studio and a two-room apartment, so I can give a genuine review. It works well for short or long stays. The staff, including Chris, Kaja and Dragon, were welcoming and courteous, and everyone at Brera speaks English. The Westendstrasse location is superb: Hit supermarket is a one-minute walk away, Dominos takes two or three minutes, and the bus stop is downstairs. The U-Bahn and tram are about 50 metres away, with Hauptbahnhof just five minutes by U-Bahn. Air conditioning is available too, which is rare.
