Hotel Condor

I spent one night here by myself. The room was nice, the bathroom seemed fairly new, and the bed looked clean. I saw no signs of bedbugs, and the mattress looked almost new. I also didn't hear the construction noise. Getting around was easy, with the train station, bus, U- and S-bahn, and city centre all nearby. Check-in was hassle-free and staff were fairly friendly. The elevator was creepy.

For the price, don't expect much beyond a basic hotel. The Wi-Fi was so slow and bad that I just used my data, and the walls are a bit thin. I could hear the neighbors having sex in the middle of the night. I booked three nights and then added one more. I'd read reviews mentioning security, but thankfully I didn't run into any problems. The location near the main train station is great. The staff are friendly and amazing, and will help with anything. Rooms are clean and the beds are good. The bathroom is small, but fine. There are lots of nearby Halal restaurants, and they're open late.

The room was a decent size, but the bathroom was tiny, like a plane bathroom with a tub. Its switches were broken, there was mold, and stains were everywhere. In room 301, the hallway was dirty, and its motion-sensing lights switched off as soon as you stood still. The floors were dirty, the elevator was sad, the lobby felt like a dungeon and the carpets looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in ages. Breakfast cost $18 for a sad plate of scrambled eggs, the only hot option. This isn't a three-star hotel as advertised. It felt more like motel quality. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with more than $100 in their bank account.

Most of my belongings were stolen from my room during my stay at Condor Hotel. When I came back, the door was open, and the hotel staff offered no support. They refused to check the cameras, there are no cameras on the floors, and instead of helping they accused me of lying. Guests' belongings aren't safe here. If something had happened to me personally, there would have been no way to identify who was responsible. Security is zero. I strongly advise others not to stay here. I don't want anyone else to go through what I did.
