The administration and staff were attentive and professional, and clearly cared about their guests. We skipped breakfast because of a scheduling conflict, though we heard from other guests that it's very good. Hotel Alfa is very clean and well maintained, and its convenient location near the main train station makes many city attractions walkable. It was a comfortable, pleasant stay, with a great mix of location, cleanliness, and service. We'd gladly return.

Breakfast was great. I'm not a coffee drinker, and good tea can be hard to find, but here they had individual teapots, several loose tea options, and piping hot water. Friends said the cappuccino was good too, though I can't say for myself. The plates of ham, cheese, and other items were constantly refreshed, so nothing dried out or curled at the edges. Manager Anton and the staff were friendly and service minded. Our spotless room even had an infrared bathroom heater, which made it cozy. The hotel is just a couple of minutes' walk from Hauptbahnhof, yet it sits on a quiet side street. A really nice place to stay!

It's very close to the tube, and breakfast was nice. Anton at reception was kind, friendly, and keen to help. One thing: ask for an extra blanket, because the room felt a little cold even though the radiators were putting out plenty of heat.

I was here for two nights on a business trip and got a bigger room than I expected. The welcome was very nice, everything was spotless, and breakfast was excellent. The area also felt safe enough in the evening.
