Jams Music Hotel Munich

We planned to stay just one night while passing through Munich, but ended up staying four more. The service, value, location, and amazing staff made us want to stay. There's a Tram stop right nearby, town is a 15-minute walk away, and there are lots of places to eat in the area. The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were so helpful that they even gave our musically inclined son the chance to play drums in the lobby. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Munich.

This is easily our favourite hotel. The location is central, and the rooms are clean and quiet. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the receptionists, who really go the extra mile. We'll definitely return.

I was sharing a room with a friend for three nights, then realized I needed one more night before flying home to Canada. The hotel was fully booked, but Maggie at reception kept checking whenever she was on shift and telling me there was no news yet. On the morning we were meant to check out, she found a cancellation and asked if I wanted the room. Of course I did. She also helped me rent a bike for the day so I could explore more of the city. I missed her when I checked out the next day, so I couldn't thank her in person. Marco was there instead and kindly directed me to the train to the airport. We also had a good, if brief, chat about football, including Munich legend Thomas Muller now playing for my team, the Vancouver Whitecaps. Thanks to Maggie and Marco, I felt at home in Munich. Jim S

We enjoyed dinner at the hotel one evening, with a variety of burgers. Breakfast was good too, with cold meats, cheese, lots of breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, quality coffee, and omelettes made to order. The hotel is well situated: the City centre is about a half-hour walk downhill, while the "Gasteig" tram stop is just a minute from the entrance. Rosenheim Platz, with six S train lines, is also nearby, and S8 goes directly to Munich airport. Toni at reception and her colleagues answered our questions warmly. Everyone we met spoke English and was gracious about our modest German.
