The rooms were comfortable and had a fresh, very clean feel, and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff were friendly too. For a city stay that doesn't cost a fortune, Motel One worked really well. I stayed at Motel One Campus München and Nürnberg and was honestly surprised by how stylish and modern the places looked, from the lobby to the rooms. The price for the quality was what stood out most. I usually expect a motel to be pretty basic or cheap, but this brand changed that impression for me. It felt much more like a trendy boutique hotel. Affordable, stylish, and reliable, I'd absolutely stay there again.

Giesing is a lively neighborhood and worth exploring. The hotel is under a 10-minute walk from two U-Bahn stations. Inside, the room was simple, quiet, cozy, and very clean. Check-in and check-out were easy, and being able to check in 24/7 was a big plus. The receptionists were all polite and helpful. Some people have complained about the pillows. I had four, each with different firmness, which I liked. Maybe they were matched to requests, or maybe I just got lucky.

For the price, this was better than I expected and a comfortable, cozy place to stay in Munich. The whole hotel was very clean. My room was on the small side, but well designed and comfortable for a solo traveler. I was there for one night at Motel One München-Campus. Friendly, welcoming staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable stay.

The standout for us was the service, and the lobby and restaurant had a great atmosphere for the price. The hotel was spotless. Behind it, markets and cute cafes were only a 2-3 minute walk away. We were four girls staying for three days over New Year's. The location wasn't the most practical, since the hotel is a few stops from the center and the metro takes a 5-6 minute walk to reach. We weren't keen on the rooms either. They were tiny and didn't have basic things like an iron, fridge, or kettle.

We got a great deal, even though prices go up during the festival. Dinner at the restaurant was nice and very affordable. The area was quiet, the breakfast buffet was nice, and the bar and lounge were pleasant. The staff were friendly, and the metro was walkable. For Oktoberfest, it's about a 10-minute Uber ride or 30 minutes by train. We booked several months ahead and ended up in a very small room with few amenities. The bathroom had a smell, but leaving the door ajar took care of it. There are over 500 rooms here. One thing I haven't encountered at other hotels in all my travels: there's no free water in the lobby. A bottle costs €6, so plan accordingly.
