Prhofer Hotel Garni

We were four people staying over a long weekend to visit Oktoberfest. From the outside, the place looks rather unassuming, but everything worked out well. The rooms aren't especially modern, though they're perfectly fine and, above all, spotlessly clean. The service was wonderful, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. The U-Bahn is also very easy to reach. We booked our next stay there before leaving. Keep it up, dear team! Greetings from Siegerland!

We would have liked to stay longer, but the room and breakfast put us off. The room was small, dated, and poorly furnished, and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was a tiny buffet served in a freezing, unheated room at -3°C. We did get a brief, friendly welcome. There may be more available if you want it, but that was all we experienced. On top of that, they charged us an extra €30 per night because of the trade fair. What a disgrace. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

This family-run hotel is charming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Everything is amazingly clean, and breakfast has a really cozy feel. I’ll definitely book here again.

The rooms were on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your own suitcases upstairs. No one offered to help. It was 30°C outside, and the upstairs rooms were uncomfortably warm. There’s a fan, but no air conditioning. Breakfast was simple, with no scrambled eggs. You could ask for a boiled egg. The friendliness was mixed: very nice at first, but at checkout nobody asked how our stay had gone. We stayed two nights.
