Ramada Encore by Wyndham Munich Messe

The hotel was good enough for me, as long as you arrive with realistic expectations. I know that Germany's hotel industry isn't very developed, and I'd put this place in that category too. I don't blame the industry, though, since regulations and other factors are involved. The hotel seems to be used mostly by people visiting Messe Munchen, about 20 minutes away by metro or 5 minutes by taxi. Check-in and the staff were good, the rooms were okay, and the Wi-Fi worked well. I was there for three days and didn't have my room cleaned. I'm not sure how often they clean, but the room was clean. Breakfast was weak. There aren't any supermarkets nearby and only a few restaurants. The tap water in the room is drinkable.

The room was clean and nice, the reception and restaurant staff were great, and breakfast was amazing. Parking was super too. My two suggestions are to provide disposable bed shoes, like other hotels do, to keep things hugenic, and to clean rooms daily without requiring a voucher or advance booking by the day before or 8am. That system isn't comfortable, hygenic, or conve iant. It's supposed to be an initiative to be more "green," but travelling with family, it feels like the voucher process makes people miss room cleaning, saving the hotel money at guests' inconvenience.

The rooms had a modern design that was easy on the eyes, and they were really nice and clean. The hotel may look far from the city centre, but public transport makes getting around easy. It does take longer than staying somewhere closer in, of course.

It was a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was good. Reception could be a little friendlier and more welcoming when you first arrive. That would make the experience even better.
