Ferienhof Meyer

Mrs. Meyers was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fantastic, the kind you don’t get every day. We stayed one night while cycling. The rooms were basic but clean, though the farm wasn’t the easiest place to find.

It’s a peaceful place with a really welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly too. You can cook in the kitchenette, and it’s a great spot for mushroom picking. I’d happily come back.

We spent most of our free time outdoors because the garden and surroundings are so beautiful. Meyer holiday farm had what we needed for our business trip at a fair price. Mrs. Meyer was pleasant to deal with, and all our requests were met.

I didn’t really feel comfortable there, though I can’t say exactly why. The garden had tables and chairs for relaxing, and breakfast was good, with regional sausage, honey, and homemade jam. Wi-Fi worked throughout the property, and we were given an information folder, but its idea was better than its upkeep: in 2016, brochures from 1999 were pretty unusual. The accommodation itself was good, but the room furnishings were sparse and had little charm. The rest of the farm also didn’t feel like the sort of holiday farm where you’d want to spend time with children. Maybe they were reorganizing and things would change soon. Three stars still feels like a solid, adequate rating. I’m taking off one star for the farm and another because I just didn’t feel at ease.
