The homemade food was a real highlight, especially the asparagus. Christiane took us out to her big garden to see her harvest it. We spent four days with Stephan & Christiane Kohl at a beautiful spot, with lovely rooms and a large terrace looking out over the vineyards. You can order wine from home and have it sent to you within a couple of days, and credit cards are accepted. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend them.

The Kohl couple were so kind and helpful, always attentive to our requests and happy to answer every question patiently without being pushy. We stayed four nights and enjoyed a cozy, well-planned wine tasting with garlic bread and lots of grilled food. The rooftop terrace was very comfortable, and on a nice day it was a lovely place to have breakfast outside. We'd definitely come back.

We ended up having a wine tasting spontaneously, and it was really interesting. Mr. Koch shared lots about growing the grapes and life as a DRS winegrower. The wines were delicious, and the host was very friendly.

A handy overnight stop on our bike trip. The host couple were nice, the wine from their own vineyards was good, and breakfast was delicious.
