At checkout they insisted on cash, even though I’d shown a credit card when checking in. Something definitely seemed off. The rooms were dated, and the price felt too high.

The market, harbor and castle gardens are all an easy walk from the hotel, which made it a good base for a day out in the city. We stayed for two nights, May 1st-3rd. The rooms and general atmosphere were up to a good standard, with nothing missing. Breakfast had everything needed for a healthy start, and a big thank you to the gentleman looking after it. The service was especially pleasant during a time that can feel emotionally cold. Many thanks to Ms. Haegert. We highly recommend the hotel and city for a day trip.
