A small but lovely holiday apartment in a really central spot. The building has a swimming pool too.

We ended up choosing another landlord after Mr. Ennen's response to our inquiry. We couldn't find an availability calendar or price list on the website, so we emailed to ask whether a suitable apartment was free for certain dates, after failing to reach the office by phone. Mr. Ennen called right after we sent the email and was extremely unfriendly. He asked if he now had to handle our inquiry twice since he'd already received the email. He also said he couldn't answer over the phone because they had other things to do on-site and we weren't the only guests. He promised to email offers the next day. I said that would be too late because we had other offers, and we agreed on the afternoon instead. Nothing arrived. Apparently, with so many inquiries, some landlords on Norderney don't feel they need to be friendly or reliable anymore. I wonder why he called back if he couldn't be flexible about answering a customer by phone. We didn't know what else to expect from this unfriendly landlord, so we booked elsewhere with a very friendly landlord who still values friendliness and customer service.

The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. There was always someone available when we had questions. It's well located, with a balcony and, if you want one, a sea view.

The view of the sea from the balcony at the Old Tea Room is incredible, such a luxury. The apartment itself is cozy and clean. We definitely recommend it and will book there again.
