Ferienhaus Papenfuß

Everything was so easy and convenient, and the apartment was spotless with a lovely Scandinavian feel. Its central location couldn't be better. The owner was very understanding when we accidentally broke the bedside lamp and didn't charge us for it. Thanks, and keep it up!

Even with November weather doing its thing, staying in this apartment was a treat. It was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable that we were happy to spend time indoors. The bathroom had underfloor heating and a walk-in rain shower, and the large kitchen came with modern appliances. There were big flat-screen TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, with all the channels and a media library. The box-spring beds were excellent, as they are in the other apartments here. Getting here is simple: ferry, then bus 1, and you're at Papenfuss's holiday home. The apartments are clean, cozy, quiet, and right in the center. All the arrangements are straightforward and well thought out, even if you're not very comfortable with technology. We've stayed with Mr. Papenfuss several times and tried different apartments. Every one has been fantastic, and this one was a real luxury stay for several people. This is my first review, but I had to write one because I'm so pleased. I may have made it harder for myself to book here next time, but we'll keep coming back. We already feel at home and wouldn't stay anywhere else. 😀

A nice touch was the bread and drinks delivery service, and the place was clean and well equipped. You can walk to the beach in about two minutes, and although it's right in the center, the apartment sits on a side street, so weekend party noise wasn't an issue. I'll definitely return.
