Hotel Nordic

We had to find somewhere else late in the evening after our booked hotel didn't have the extra bed we'd reserved. We called Nordic, and they were very polite and helpful, and everything worked out. The rooms were spacious and clean, with good beds and a roomy bathroom with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good, even if the selection wasn't huge. The area seemed pleasant, and it was quiet and peaceful, with bowling and several restaurants right nearby. Good service and cleanliness made a strong impression. We'd be happy to stay again if we're in the area.

The staff and garden were charming, and everyone was very hospitable and accommodating even though I understand very little German. Thanks, all! The place is sweet, cute, and clean, and worked well for a wait between flights. HAM airport is just a 20 min drive away, with plenty of good taxi services and parks close by.

For the price, you get a comfortable enough stay, and ours was pleasant. The extra 10€ for breakfast was worth it. Our room didn't have air-conditioning, but there was a ventilator. There are some parking spaces, though not enough for every guest. Street parking is free if you put out the blue 2 hour parking card. A good hotel for a trip between Sweden and Belgium.

I was very unhappy with the experience and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tidy place to sleep. The main problem was cleanliness: so many things were dirty and old, and it seemed like nobody in management cared. Dust was packed into the hair dryer so it wouldn't blow, and no one had bothered to clean it. At night I couldn't find anyone at reception to ask for clean bed linen. The hotel was not clean, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.
