The room was clean, and the location is hard to beat. I could even see the Ring from my room. The front desk guy was super helpful with me as an American who doesn't understand German. I chose the place because of its great reviews, then found the connection to Sabine(RIP). I loved seeing her on TopGear and in many other things. The last time I was at the Ring, in 12’, she had already retired from Ring taxi for BMW. Still, mad respect for her and her father. As a dad with daughters, seeing her gave me hope my girls might get into cars with me. They're 16&19 and not there yet, but fingers crossed.

We loved the hotel and reviewed it on booking.com, but I wanted to mention the restaurant too. It was a busy night after a race meet, so we booked a table. The menu is extensive, and our choices were very good. It was also fun to watch other diners tackle the signature steak, served raw on a hot stone for you to cook and eat.

I've been staying at this great spot for more than 20 years, and the staff and owners have always been friendly and helpful. The room had three beds, one in a loft, and felt a bit tight for three adults, but it wasn't a problem. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It's a lovely little village, so close to the 'Ring. I'll be back.

I missed my stay because my car broke down in Calais, but Monika and the team at Tiergarten were amazing. They managed to list the room again and sell it that same day. Booking.com made getting my refund difficult, and the hotel went above and beyond to help them trace it. Amazing people and service. I'll be back for my steak on a rock. Thank you!

This was my second visit, and everything was perfect. The staff are very friendly, and the facilities are spotless and comfortable. Whether you're having breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Pistenklause, you're surrounded by fellow car enthusiasts. It doesn't get any better.
