The owner was friendly, professional, and clear in all our communication, and the apartment itself was a great place to stay. It has two bedrooms spread across the 4th and 5th floors, with no elevator, plus a full kitchen, an updated bathroom, and plenty of amenities. The main drawback is the street noise. Although the old city location is convenient, traffic is heavy and loud, and the many Imbisses, shops, Shisha lounges, bars, and casinos keep the street unbelievably noisy until 2 AM. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would recommend it.

We stayed in the 150m2 super flat, which had plenty of room for friends or a larger family. It came with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, coffee, welcome chocolate, and much more, so it had everything we needed. You can book different apartments at Booking. It’s worth checking out.

The apartment itself is bright, beautiful, and comfortably furnished, with good mattresses. The landlord was friendly and flexible. But we felt very uncomfortable outside. The apartment is in Nuremberg’s red-light district, and although its garage is around the corner, it sits right in the main red-light area, so we couldn’t use it. Parking elsewhere is very expensive, and the people around there made us uneasy walking on the street. We didn’t know the area and hadn’t expected the red-light district to be so close to a historic monument, the old city wall and tower at the Ludwig Gate. It feels very sad and tragic for this historic site, even if this is apparently part of Nuremberg’s urban tradition. This urgently needs to change.
