Pillhofer Hotel

We had a really good dinner to finish our stay, with schnitzel, sausages and an amazing Paulaner beer. Our room was spotless and well organized, and the service was friendly and very helpful. The location made it easy to walk everywhere, and it’s less than 300 meters from the central station in a very safe area. The staff also took great care of our luggage while we visited Bamberg. We had an excellent stay at Pillhofer and will definitely come back on our next vacation. I truly recommend it.

The staff member who helped me was kind and helpful, and I’d consider staying here again if I return. It’s easy to walk everywhere from this spot, with everything close by. The noise was the one drawback. I’m not sure whether the room wasn’t soundproof or the restaurant downstairs was the source, but I could hear everything.

It’s a heritage building, so the stairs are steep, but that gives it some charm. The rooms were quite big, and the view from the window was lively. The location is excellent, right next to the Bahnhof.

The staff were friendly and the location is great. Just know the hotel and restaurant doors don’t open until around 2:30, so you can’t plan on dropping your bags off before check-in. The room floor was pretty dirty. We used a towel to sweep it ourselves because we didn’t want to deal with arranging it with the staff.
