Hotel Smile has good prices, a great location on the edge of the old city, and is genuinely child friendly. The street and its appearance aren’t very inviting, but they’re okay. The room was simple and good, and breakfast was okay with a few choices. I did take a breakfast treat to put in my bag for a later walk around town. I was wrong to do that, but the manageress angrily told me off in front of everyone. I’m old enough to be her father. She was busy and stressed at the time, but hospitality is a people business, and I felt she handled it badly. If the price and location suit you, and you don’t take biscuits away, this place could work for you.

The room was spotless, breakfast was good and varied, and the whole hotel is nicely done in a consistent theme. We had a very pleasant stay. The male host was extremely friendly, helpful, and smiley :) The hostess seemed neutral, and I got the impression she wasn’t very happy to have us. The location is excellent, very close to the center, with private parking on the premises where you can leave the car while taking a walking tour around town. Five stars!

The couple who run the place are exceptionally nice, and there’s a smile all through the hotel. The rooms are spacious and have a small fridge, kettle, round table, TV, and Wi-Fi, really everything you might need. Breakfast is good, and it’s maybe a 10-minute walk to the Old Town. Love the place and recommend it with all my heart!

The owner gave us a useful little map and pointed out places to visit in the historic centre, which is very close and easy to walk to. The rooms were spacious and clean, the owners friendly, and the breakfast buffet was nice. It’s a family-run restaurant aimed at families.

The owner was kind, friendly, and full of useful tips about what to do, where to eat, and what to see. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated in bright colors that put you in a good mood. Breakfast was generous and everything we ate tasted delicious. The location is just right, near one of the main entrances to the old town and within walking distance of Nuremberg’s main attractions. For a hotel called "Smile", it certainly left one on my face. Absolutely perfect.
