Ferienwohnung Oberammergau

We stayed in winter and are already planning to return in summer. There’s a barbecue in the large garden, and the apartment is a great starting point for mountain walks, whether you take a cable car or not. The pool and the center of Oberammergau are also easy to reach, with lots of restaurants nearby. Our favorite was only a three-minute walk away. The apartment is luxuriously furnished, with every detail considered, so it’s comfortable even for a longer stay or in bad weather. Our children loved the games inside and the large playroom downstairs. For an outing, the summer toboggan run is worth a ride, with its valley station seven minutes away on foot.

The house is welcoming and has everything you need, and the hosts were wonderful. We had a lovely break in a beautiful, idyllic setting. I absolutely recommend staying here, and we’ll certainly return.

We spent 10 days in this luxury apartment in the "heart of Bavaria," and it was fantastic. The central location was a highlight. Oberammergau is peaceful and great for unwinding, while hiking areas, mountain bike routes, climbing courses and the toboggan run are only a few minutes away. Neuschwanstein Castle and Bavaria's lakes are within reach, and getting to Munich is easy. Inside, Bavarian-style furnishings are mixed with modern touches, just as I imagine them as a northerner. The kitchen is state of the art, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and there’s a TV and plenty more. The garden is large and lovely. We also found a hobby room in the basement for rainy days, though we hardly wanted to leave! The landlord was lovely and very relaxed. Thank you so much. We’ll definitely come back, maybe in winter next time.
